Works great for roots and curling
I love this for volume with curling iron styles or on my roots before blow drying. The only thing I don't like is that it has a very strong chemical smell.

Not at all as described or reviewed for me. For fine hair soft is not an option. Pleasant scent. No more volume than any other volumizing spray
