R+Co BLEU at NYFW: Backstage with Garren for Anna Sui S/S 2026

Garren, Celebrity Hairstylist and Co-Founder of R+Co and R+Co BLEU used R+Co BLEU products to create the hair looks at the Anna Sui Spring/Summer 2026 show.

The hair for Anna Sui was natural and effortless to complement the Desert Blooms Collection, inspired by young artists of the early 1920’s who built a vibrant, creative sanctuary out west.

“It’s very ethereal in a way, and very bohemian. All of the girls have very long hair. It is coming out of the 20’s, and hair at that point was very strict, very up and kind of Gibsony. These young kids decided they wanted their hair down, to let loose, and break away from the norm,” said Garren of the inspiration.

R+Co BLEU products were used to enhance texture, create natural waves and undone movement.

Cleanse the scalp using NEW Scalp Therapy Pre-Shampoo Exfoliating Scrub ($52) before shampooing.

After washing hair, spray NEW Scalp Therapy Densifying & Rebalancing Leave-In Mist ($54) to renourish the scalp before styling.

Start by spraying Essential Blow Dry Tonic ($42) to wet hair as your base, and then let strands dry loosely.

Using a curling iron, create rough, natural-looking waves throughout the hair.

Divide the hair into two sections. Tease the top section to build volume and shape into a soft, Victorian-inspired Gibson silhouette by creating two victory rolls towards the crown of the head, keeping loose tendrils framing the face.

Keeping texture natural, enhance waves using Rose Water Wave Spray ($42), scrunching into hair, and then using a diffuser or letting the hair air-dry.

Finish the look with Cult Classic Flexible Hairspray ($46) for hold and a boost of volume.
