R+Co Global Educator Ania Lisikiewicz redefines an iconic ‘80s style with a modern shape and R+Co BLEU styling products.
A great cut and the right products make all the difference, especially with bringing out the best in hair’s natural texture. Chicago-based salon owner and R+Co Global Educator Ania Lisikiewicz brings life, shape and definition to her model’s curls doing just that.
To start, Lisikiewicz prepped hair with R+Co BLEU Primary Color Shampoo and Conditioner before cutting hair into a voluminous, shoulder-length lob using shears.
“Our inspiration came from the strong shapes in the 80s,” she says. “This cut is reminiscent of Baby in Dirty Dancing--we love a revival!”
When it came to styling, Lisikiewicz reached for a full R+Co BLEU routine. She resaturated hair with water and then applied Essential Hair Tonic, Super Style Crème and a puff of Hightest Volume Mousse, scrunching product in with her hands. For the most amount of lift possible, she dried the hair with a diffuser on medium heat/medium airflow upside down.
