For reference, I have very fine blonde highlighted hair in a jaw length bob. My hair has some slight natural wave.
So the first time I bought this shampoo I just had no idea how to use it properly in my hair. The whole not using conditioner thing really threw me off. And I felt like I couldn’t get a comb through my hair after using it.
I finally figured out to get a wider tooth comb than what I was using to run through my hair post wash and to sort of set it in place for air drying.
I feel that this shampoo is really great for those that want to air dry their hair but still have a lot of texture and volume. This made my lightly wavy, super fine hair have the coolest textured ropey waves!!
FOR BLOW DRIED STYLES:
This is how I use it when I want to use my blow dryer. I wash with Cactus, but then apply my R&Co conditioner from mid shaft down. That way I maintain that gritty texture at my roots but also have smoother ends when styling.
I don’t use Cactus everyday as it can be a bit drying. So I alternate it with my other R&Co shampoos. And I always do one of their deep conditioners at the end of a week.
Really a cool product!
